At AALC’s Supportive Living (SL) communities have many amazing residents who are living well past 100 years of age.  We believe their lives should be recognized and celebrated.

This award is given to our most “senior” resident and we are excited to announce that this year’s Centenarian Award Winner is: Pauline Moore who is a spry 105 years old!

Centenarian Contest Winner 2017
Pauline Moore, 105 years young
Heritage Woods of centralia

Pauline is a resident at Heritage Woods of Centralia.  She attributes her youthfulness to a lifetime of healthy living. In fact, today she walks daily and participates in daily exercise class.  Pauline also gives back to the community. Pauline regularly volunteered her time at polling places and with Meals on Wheels.  She was such an inspiration that she was also named Citizen of the Year and has a bench dedicated to her in Mt. Vernon.  And on a fun note, Pauline began driving at 12 years old, continued to do so until the ripe age of 100 years and never received a single ticket.

Pauline was nominated by Misty Rollinson, who said, “Pauline is very remarkable, positive and pleasure to talk to everyday.”

Congratulations to all of our winners and thank you to everyone who submitted an entry!

SPONSOR THANK YOU!
